“I decided to participate in the Bra Art project because it is a good way to create something great for a wonderful cause. Charities always need money. And, with this project you can give a monetary contribution, as well as create a piece of art. Also, all the money goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. “

Joyce’s Story

I was born and raised in Denver. I received my cosmetology license through a program offered at Manual High School. Since 1990, I have worked in the Cherry Creek area as a hair stylist.

Several of my friends and clients have had breast cancer. So when Joni Goheen started organizing this fundraiser, I was very excited to participate. What a great way to be creative, raise money and get involved in a community project!

I want to thank all of the brave women who have fought breast cancer. You are my heroes!
