Hero Support
Michelle Field, Mrs. Colorado International 2009
“When I won the title of Mrs. Colorado International 2009, one of my goals was to use the power of the crown to support more organizations than just my personal platform of Boy Scouts of America. During my reign, I have had the honor of supporting organizations like the American Heart Association and Cystic Fibrosis. When I was asked to participate in Bra Art, I jumped right in. As a queen, I am often the center of attention, but my true endeavor is to support the real heroes of our state, those whose lives inspire us all.”
Michelle’s Story
Michelle Field’s titles include mom, bookkeeper, business owner, Cub and Boy Scout leader and, most recently, Mrs. Colorado International 2009. She is a seven-year resident of Centennial, where she lives with Scott, her husband of 24 years, her four children and a very spoiled Poodle named Prince. She and her husband, along with her father-in-law, Harvey, own the Denver Kitchen Tune-Up franchise. Their business offers a wide range of services for the kitchen and bath, from wood renewal to new cabinets.
Michelle was crowned on February 28, 2009. She represented the beautiful state of Colorado in July at the Mrs. International Pageant that took place in Chicago. Since she began her reign, she has made nearly 40 appearances at events such as the Go Red for Women luncheon and the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Frederic C. Hamilton Scout Headquarters.
